The hotel is impeccably clean and spacious. the staff is welcoming. - the location on the sea is particularly good. - the twin room had central heating, an electronic key card, and a satellite TV. - the restaurant serves excellent Spanish food. Hotel Playasol in Puerto de Mazarron offers clean and spacious accommodations, welcoming staff, a great location by the sea, well-equipped rooms, and delicious Spanish cuisine at its restaurant.

The design of the hotel and facilities was first class and the surroundings for the meals outside fantastic. The food was excellent and really well presented. The room we had was just what we were looking for. We thought we had booked a double room but after several discussions with the Spanish staff we were offered a junior suite with a double bed for the duration of the stay
Just one drawback and was mainly the fault of the clientel. As the dining was normally outside and adjacent to the pool of an evening, and with the lighting the setting was fantastic, however one evening a family continued to use the pool facilities into the evening well after dining commenced at 8pm, when dining guests where eating beside them. Particularly an issue as most guests dining where not guests of the hotel but living local. The staff did not seem to be able to deal with this situation, ourselves we refused to eat until they left the poolside and stayed at the bar to make a point which we believe did not go un-noticed by the staff. Apart from that still a very enjoyable experience staying at the Hotel Playasol.

From the outside you would think it a standard 3 star hotel but walk through the doors and you are met with a very contempary, plush and luxurious hotel, inside and outside. We were greeted with complimentary champagne as we lay at the poolside with waiter service. The facilities and surroundings were fantastic, the food and service very good and the price for all this was exceptional . My rating for this hotel is 8/10
The hotel balcony was small with no seating provided, no tv or coffee facilities, only twin beds no double and some of the food was under cooked when asked for well done. Apart from that, a great hotel.
